Ashley has been working with thin solid films since 1981 and gained his PhD in Optoelectronics from Northumbria University in 1990. He has wide ranging experience in electron beam evaporation, ion-assisted deposition and sputtering of optical and semiconductor materials. Robert has been involved in optical component manufacture for fifteen years and formed RDT Optics 10 years ago.
